Folsom High School Bulldogs ranked No. 1 in Northern California for 2026 season
The Folsom High School Bulldogs are starting the 2026 high school football season as the No. 1-ranked team in Northern California.
Folsom is coming off a 14-1 season that included a fifth consecutive Section Division I championship and a CIF state title.
Senior quarterback and Cal commit Brody Rudnicki takes over the offense full-time with his primary target being three-star UCLA commit Rob Larson, who tallied over 1,000 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns last season. San Jose State commit and wideout Carter Williams will also be big for the offense.
The Bulldogs are once again loaded this season, with a new team ready to repeat their success.
Players to watch:
Brody Rudnicki (Sr., QB): Came up clutch during the 2025 playoffs while helping win a state title and is committed to Cal.Rob Larson (Sr., WR): A top offensive target and is committed to UCLA.Carter Williams (Sr., WR): another offensive weapon and is committed to San Jose State.Lua DeBerry (Sr., DT/NG): A 300-pound defensive lineman committed to Sacramento State.
