FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — Roads were completely blocked after a crash on Friday morning in Fresno County.
The crash is on Highway 180 near Oliver Avenue, just west of Sanger.
CHP says they first got a call around 6:45 a.m. for reports of the major crash.
Initial investigations show that a pick up truck towing a tractor and manure spreader on a trailer was travelling westbound on Highway 180 near Oliver Avenue at around 40-45 mph.
At the same time, a box truck was travelling behind the the truck and tractor at about 65-70 mph.
The box truck ended up rear ending into the tractor, pinning the driver of the box truck inside.

CHP, firefighters and EMS all responded, and the 30-year-old male driver was extricated.
He was then flown to the hospital with severe injuries to a limb.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
All the occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time and alcohol drugs are not believed to be a factor.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Officers say the impact caused the box truck and tractor to be stuck together.
