A 32-year-old woman is suspected of driving under the influence after a crash that injured her two children Saturday.
Police received a report of a reckless driver in Fresno’s Tower District who had left the area around 6 p.m.
Witnesses later told officers that the driver had hit other vehicles.
A police helicopter monitored the vehicle as officers attempted to make a traffic stop, Fresno Police Lt. Michael Pierce said.
The vehicle traveled west on Highway 180 before crashing at the 180 and Abby off-ramp, Pierce said.
Officers found the woman and her two children inside the vehicle.
The children suffered minor injuries, and the woman is suspected of DUI, Pierce said.
