“As the officers were walking back to their police vehicle, three unrestrained and aggressive dogs emerged from the property and charged at them while they were in the street,” according to the statement. “One of the dogs attacked an officer, resulting in an officer-involved animal shooting.”
That officer suffered a bite to his leg and the dogs’ owner exited the property to round up the dogs.
