Home of Chicken and Waffles in Oakland is closing its doors after 23 years.
The restaurant’s owner said he’s ready to retire from the restaurant industry and move on to a new chapter. The last day of business is Monday.
The restaurant moved about two years ago to its current location in Jack London Square.
This marks the neighborhood’s second recent high-profile restaurant closure, following Plank one month ago.
