BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred in late June.
The attempted burglary occurred on Sunday, June 28, around 11:38 p.m., when the suspect shattered a window at a Dollar Tree store, located at 2140 Wible Road.
The Bakersfield Police Department said the suspect did not enter the storefront, saying it appeared as the suspect was deterred by a burglary alarm going off.

BPD said the suspect is a male with a thin build, who at the time of the incident was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering across the chest and on the lower waist. The department said he was also wearing black shorts, black socks and white tennis shoes.
