Police said 371 vehicles were contacted during the checkpoint that ran from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
In addition to the 13 DUI arrests, 24 drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended or revoked license.
Officials said DUI checkpoint locations are based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes, and that the primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off road.
The next DUI enforcement operation will be a DUI saturation patrol scheduled for September 19th.
Funding for the checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
