BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — At least two semi-trailers crashed on northbound Interstate 5 at around 7:08 p.m., delaying traffic on Monday night, according to CHP’s website. At least one of the semis caught fire.
Heavy traffic was reported just after 8 p.m near Grapevine Road. At least two lanes are being blocked due to produce in the road, said CHP’s website.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
The southbound lanes on the I-5 were closed by the so-called “Rose Fire” after 5 p.m.
