The Navy says aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt will deploy to the Arabian Sea when it leaves San Diego later this month.
The flat-top will take over patrolling an area that was covered by the USS Abraham Lincoln, now being covered by the USS George Washington.
The Washington has already been out to sea for about three months on an average eight-and-a-half- month deployment.
The nuclear-powered Theodore Roosevelt has reportedly been preparing for this deployment throughout this month, days and weeks after leading Rim of the Pacific 2026 international military exercises off the Hawaiian coast reports Military.com.
