Piedmont Unified School District is celebrating the launch of its sixth year of the Affinity Mentorship Program, a district initiative that pairs high school mentors with younger students based on shared aspects of identity and lived experience. This year’s program includes 86 high school mentors from Piedmont High School and Millennium High School.
The community is invited to attend a Mentor Launch Party to meet this year’s mentors and learn more about the program’s work supporting students across the district.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 13, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Crocker Park (Bear Park). Light refreshments and activities will be provided. All community members are welcome to attend.
