BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Keeping kids of a positive path can start with simply giving them a safe place to go and someone they can trust.
The Bakersfield Police Activities League offers just that by giving local kids access to after school programs while building relationships with law enforcement.
BPAL Director Naomi Vidales and Police Officer Jose Lara joined ARC Bakersfield to share how the program benefits youth in our community.
The Bakersfield Police Activities League is located at 301 East 4th Street and is open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
