LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. — During a fire, time could be one of the things that could help prevent it from spreading catastrophically.
A teenager from Newport Coast has developed something that can detect fires in their incipient stages.
It started as a fifth grade science project, dating back to 2018.
Now, at least two cities in Orange County have partnered with the teen to deploy his invention to keep an eye out for wildfires.
Spectrum News checked back in with Ryan Honary, founder of SensoRy AI, about where his artificial intelligence powered system will be deployed.
