Pacific Electric, the live music venue in Chinatown, unveils a new open-air space open to guests of all ages whether or not the indoor stage has a show going on. Opening weekend features TUMBAO, a Miami-inspired Afro-Latin nightlife experience, presented with Adidas on Aug. 5.

In celebration of the premiere of Chad Powers season 2, Hulu rolls into Venice with a catfish food truck serving up a catfish po’boy with coleslaw, pickles and hot sauce and loaded fries with cheese, jalapeño and scallions. The food truck stops at Windward Ave from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and The Brig on Abbot Kinney from 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Ahead of the one-day Sun Soaked 2026 festival, Kaskade treats Los Angeles to his Origin set, bringing his Coachella performance right to the Santa Monica pier.

Just ahead of the premiere of The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, FX drops into Somerville for a celebration featuring live performances curated by Big Boy, a marketplace of Black-owned brands put together by Black on the Block, food trucks and a screening of the first episode.
