Two people were killed and two others injured Thursday, Sept. 3 when a vehicle crashed over the side of the 5 Freeway in Anaheim.
The wreck happened around 3:15 a.m. at the southbound Lincoln Avenue off-ramp.
Four patients were discovered at the scene, with two pronounced dead, according to an Orange County Fire Authority dispatcher.
Two other people were taken to a hospital, with their conditions not immediately available, the dispatcher said.
A witness reported that the driver of a white SUV appeared to miss the off-ramp and lost control while making a late attempt to take the exit.
The vehicle flew over the side.
