Man shot in the leg at Sacramento County business plaza, officials say
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A man is in the hospital after being shot in the parking lot of a business plaza, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies got a call around 10:45 p.m. about the man being in front of a laundromat in the 5400 block of Madison Avenue near Hemlock Street, the sheriff’s office said. There, they found the man had a single gunshot wound to the leg.
The man received medical care, including a tourniquet, before being taken to a hospital, the sheriff’s office said. Details on the severity of his injuries were not released, only that he is in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office said the man was uncooperative with investigators and refused to provide information about the shooting.
