FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Veterans aboard the 35th Central Valley Honor Flight received a warm welcome Wednesday night as they returned to Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
The 68 veterans are now home after visiting our Nation’s Capitol and the many war memorials built in their honor.

On the final day of the trip, these heroes visited Arlington National Cemetery, observing the Changing of the Guard Ceremony and Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
They also got to pay tribute to their fallen comrades at the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam Wall before getting on the flight home.
The trip began on Monday when the veterans arrived at the airport before the sun came up.
Welcome home, heroes.
