GLENN COUNTY, Calif. — Boaters and river-goers on a stretch of the Sacramento River faced an alcohol ban during Labor Day weekend.
The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office announced the temporary restriction for part of the Sacramento River.
The ban is in effect Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, through Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, from Irvine Finch in Hamilton City to Big Chico Creek.
