Hampton rushed for 545 yards and four touchdowns in nine games as a rookie as he battled a pair of ankle injuries during the season. He also added 192 receiving yards and a touchdown in nine total games.

The running back has attacked his first full offseason in the new offense in a positive way as he’s garnered praise from the offensive playcaller.

At 6-foot and 220 pounds and with his explosiveness, there’s plenty of hype on what Hampton will be able to do in 2026.

“For him and his skillset, no one wants to tackle that guy, that is a massive human moving very fast,” McDaniel said earlier in the offseason about Hampton. “The less we can get him to stop his feet and do what we call slash and pick edges of defenders and shoulder punch him, the better.”

He later added: “I’m very confident, it’s very exciting what he’s doing each and every day because it’s all about stacking the experience, stacking the reps and improving. He’s doing that each practice.”
