BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding any information on those who were inside a dark gray or black four-door sedan that was involved in a double homicide back in May.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on May 25, 2026, at around 10:15 p.m., deputies responded to the 5700 block of Eucalyptus Drive for two victims of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found two men dead on the property.
One of the two men was identified as 61-year-old Marcelino Rodriguez of Bakersfield.
KCSO said during the investigation, detectives learned a dark gray or black four-door sedan left the scene of the crime following the shooting.
