Waterford schools are asking residents for  input on the future of the district.

The administration is creating the district’s five-year strategic plan and the public is invited to participate in two different ways.

The first is through a 10-minute community survey, which is not available and can be completed until Jan. 9, 2026.

The second is at two community forums::
1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025
6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026
Both will take place in Room 103 at the Crary Administration Building, 501 N. Cass Lake Road.

District administrators will meet in February to review stakeholder feedback before presenting a final strategic plan for approval in March 2026 to the Waterford School District Board of Education.

“Data and stakeholder feedback will guide us through this important and necessary process,” said Superintendent Adam Martin. “Our leadership team is eager to begin strategically planning to ensure a bright future for our students and staff.”

Waterford’s current strategic plan expires at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
