A fourth victim has died from injuries suffered in a small plane crash Saturday in Fresno.

Craig Eady, 41, died Monday morning, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said Monday afternoon.

Eady and his wife, Danna Eady, a Reedley College flight instructor, initially survived the crash. Danna Eady also died later from her injuries.

Their two sons were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday in the 7300 block of North Blythe Avenue.

First responders found a fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft that had crashed off the runway at Sierra Sky Park Airport and into the San Joaquin River’s river-bottom area.

Sheriff’s spokesperson Tony Botti said the plane appeared to have been departing Sky Park. He said the full findings likely will not be released for up to a year.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
