PASADENA, Calif. — The Pasadena Fire Department has joined LA DROP, a pre-hospital blood transfusion program to treat severe bleeding at the scene of an emergency, allowing paramedics to give life-saving blood to patients before they arrive at a hospital.
The program in Pasadena is a partnership between Huntington Health and the Pasadena Fire Department.
