Noteworthy: The quarterback had four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) in St. Joseph’s 25-6 victory against Long Beach Poly on Sept. 2. Loya scored the game-winner on a 5-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. She also led St. Joseph to a 34-13 victory over Beckman on Sept. 1. St. Joseph went 2-0 last week and is undefeated (9-0) after the first month of the season. The Jesters are ranked No. 17 in the nation and No. 4 in California by MaxPreps.
