Kristin Rogers, Braxton Paul power Oakland Mills past Baltimore Poly at invitational
BALTIMORE —
On Saturday, the Under Armour and John Carroll Football Invitational featured high school football matchups betweens teams around the Baltimore area.
One of the matchups was a county-vs-city game involving Baltimore Poly and Oakland Mills.
During the first quarter, the Scorpions’ Kristin Rogers took the ball 31 yards for a touchdown to give Oakland Mills a 17-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Braxton Paul broke to the outside to find the endzone on an 11-yard run to extend Oakland Mills’ lead. The extra point attempt was not successful.
Poly scored later in the game on a crossing pass to Dillon Riley, who made the catch for a touchdown.
Oakland Mills won 30-6, moving to 1-0 on the season.
