Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Long Beach on Wednesday.
The shooting was reported near 21st Street and Cerritos Avenue just before 3:30 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department. Details about what led up to the shooting were unclear. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the upper body.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died, police said. His identity has not yet been released.
Police have not provided information about a possible suspect.
