A new exhibition, “Georgia O’Keeffe: Architecture,” opens Friday, Sept. 11, at the Detroit Institute of Arts, 5200 Woodward Ave.
The first-of-its-kind display examines the Wisconsin-born artist’s interest in all manners of architecture, including skyscrapers, barns, church facades and more.
The exhibit includes nearly 40 works, along with detailed narration and in-depth annotation of each piece.
It runs through Jan. 3, 2027.
