Seacrest Foundation hosted The 211 Club Patron Recognition Party on Aug. 23. The annual celebration recognizes the generous contributors whose commitment helps ensure compassionate care and support for older adults in the community, according to a news release.
Patrons of The 211 Club are “Visionaries of Jewish Eldercare.” These compassionate contributors are a dedicated group of community leaders who are the cornerstone of a tremendous fundraising effort. Their individual contributions of $1,500 or more annually help ensure the greatest possible quality of life for Seacrest seniors in need. Their generosity helps ensure that older adults who may face financial hardship can continue to receive the housing, healthcare, care, and support they need to live with dignity and security.
More than 160 generous and committed contributors were in attendance. Support from The 211 Club is directed to Seacrest Village Retirement Communities and Seacrest at Home so that they can meet the charitable care needs of their residents and clients, the news release stated.
The evening celebration was held at a beautiful private home in Solana Beach. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served on the gorgeous patio, which offers a stunning 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean. Bathed in sunlight for cocktails and followed by dinner under the evening sky, the event offered a lovely, inviting ambiance for guests to relax and enjoy the company of good friends and fellow supporters. The Patron Recognition Party has become a favorite among Seacrest Foundation supporters for its intimacy and “family reunion” feel.
Suzi Cohen, president of the Board of Seacrest Foundation, shared in the news release, “Together, we are building on a legacy of compassion and ensuring Seacrest’s mission remains strong for generations to come.”
Jeffrey Strauss, owner and executive chef of Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach, catered the evening’s delicious food and beverages.
