BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Grapevine Road exit from northbound Interstate 5 is closed due to a semi-truck hauling cars that caught on fire Thursday afternoon.
According to the CHP’s website, on Thursday, September 10, at around 3:27 p.m., a semi-truck hauling cars caught on fire on Grapevine Road off of Interstate 5.
The website said the right rear of the trailer was engulfed.
CHP Fort Tejon said as of 4:30 p.m., the Grapevine Road exit from northbound I-5 is closed.
It is unknown if anyone was hurt.
