BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in the 2022 shooting death of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr., whose body was found on a remote dirt road north of Boron.
KCSO said on September 11, 2022, at around 8 p.m., deputies found the body of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr. of Tehachapi on a remote dirt road about one mile north of Boron.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

According to KCSO, it is suspected that Larry Christy Jr. was murdered sometime between the night of September 10, 2022, and the morning of September 11, 2022.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, Cristy Jr.’s cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives are asking those who were with Larry at any time during that time period or have knowledge of what happened to come forward with information.
