BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a couple accused of siphoning gas from a vehicle that belongs to the United States Marine Corps Recruitment Center.
Police said on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, at around 4:15 a.m., two people allegedly siphoned fuel from a vehicle belonging to the United States Marine Corps Recruitment Center, located at 2625 Oswell Street.
Bakersfield police said the suspects then drove away from the area in an early 2000’s Cadillac Escalade.

The suspects are described as:
Man in his 40’s with a heavy build, wearing a black hat and shirt, and tan shorts.
