A 21-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday and was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison for fatally stabbing another man in Santa Ana.
Ricky Raymond Rocha pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of 51-year-old Javier Rivera of Cathedral City July 12, 2023.
Rocha also pleaded guilty to participating in a gang and admitted a sentencing enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon.
