Man falls to his death from downtown San Diego apartment window

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man died after falling several stories from a window at a downtown San Diego apartment, and detectives are investigating the circumstances.

San Diego Police report that officers found an unidentified man on the sidewalk with severe injuries at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of 13th Street in the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego.

Border 18 fire contained; target shooting blamed for blaze

San Diego Police Officers and Fire Rescue Medics arrived and gave the victim life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

San Diego Police Homicide Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating this incident as a suspicious death. The police department said the investigation is still early but it appears the man fell several stories from an apartment window.
