BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Sunday’s forecast features a North Pacific trough that will be that puzzle piece helping it to potentially be the coolest day of the week locally. South Valley highs may only top out in the mid 80s and the mountains could stay in the low 70s.
This new weather pattern will also be a much quieter one as any monsoonal moisture looks to stay far away from our part of the USA and any tropical developments should steer clear of our region too, at least for the time being.
We’re still expecting conditions to be breezy to locally windy, especially through the Kern River Valley, Tehachapi and across our desert locations, which will help make it feel even cooler.
