FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — An elderly man died after being struck by a car at the intersection of McKinley and Normal avenues in Fresno, prompting a search for a hit-and-run driver.

Several units from the Fresno Police Department responded to the area within the last hour.

The only suspect information released was that the vehicle was a sedan.
Officers currently have streets blocked off in the area.
The crash happened near a shopping center that includes La Hacienda and several pho restaurants.
Police said they were looking for any surveillance video and are asking witnesses to come forward if they saw or heard anything.
