I-5 northbound near Grapevine impacted after multi-vehicle crashes, expect delays

Northbound I-5 lanes near the Grapevine are impacted after several multi-vehicle crashes Monday afternoon.

According to the CHP’s website, on Monday, September 14, at 1:15 p.m., there was a report of a multi-vehicle crash involving about four to five vehicles on the number one lane along northbound I-5 near the Grapevine.

The CHP’s website said there was another report of a multi-vehicle crash just north of the original crash.

It is unknown if anyone was hurt.

All northbound Interstate 5 lanes were closed as the crashes were being cleared.

CHP Fort Tejon said one lane is open.

Expect delays if traveling in the area.
