FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Gettysburg Avenue is closed between First and Fresno streets as SWAT officers surround a Fresno home where an armed robbery suspect is refusing to come out.
Fresno Police Lt. Michael Pierce said Tuesaday evening the suspect is wanted for armed robbery, and is believed to be armed.
SWAT is on scene, and police do not know whether anyone else is inside the home.
Gettysburg Avenue is closed between First and Fresno streets as of 7:52pm on Tuesday evening.

Photos from the scene show a large law enforcement presence surrounding the area. Police have not released the suspect’s identity, or additional information about the armed robbery.
