PHS Class of 2027 kicks off final year of high school at Hampton Field

Nearly 170 PHS seniors from the Class of 2027 swapped academics for a day of fun at Hampton Field on Sept. 4.

The day started with a boisterous scavenger hunt run by retired Piedmont Schoolmates legend Michael Murphy.

Students enjoyed playing in a huge bouncy house and picking up games of spikeball, basketball and soccer after posing for a class photo. Others were adorned with glitter tattoos and hair tinsel, while some got creative with arts and crafts.

Food was plentiful and included a snack bar and taco and ice cream trucks on site. It was three hours of old-school, outside fun during a very busy fall semester.

Senior Fest is an annual event organized by senior class parent volunteers from PHS Parent Club.
