The Mega Millions player matched four white balls and the gold Mega Ball in the drawing on Tuesday, Sept. 15, according to the California State Lottery.
The lottery player won $44,080.

The winning Mega Millions ticket was purchased at CVS Pharmacy, 10 Shaw Ave. in Clovis, according to a California State Lottery spokesperson.

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing were 27, 36, 43, 57, 58 with a Mega Ball of 16, according to the California State Lottery.

As of Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Mega Millions jackpot was at $244 million, with a cash option of $103 million.
When is the next Mega Millions drawing?
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 8 p.m.

How to play Mega Millions lottery game
It costs $5 a ticket to play Mega Millions.
Pick five numbers between 1 and 70, plus a Mega number between 1 and 24.
