A woman was killed Monday morning when her vehicle veered off the 60 Freeway and into a backyard in Jurupa Valley.
The crash was reported at 4:50 a.m. on the eastbound 60 Freeway west of Country Village Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness reported that a woman was inside the vehicle that came to rest in a backyard on the 3800 block of Wabash Drive.
The CHP shut down all but the HOV lane of the eastbound 60 Freeway in the area.
