There’s a reason that film crews return to a certain shadier stretch of Green Street with frequency: The lush trees, quaint storefronts, and general easygoing atmosphere lend the lane a lovely cinematic feel.

It’s a stretch that also sees the occasional art pop-up, a stroll-through celebration of creative people, cool finds, and community.

An uplifting event is set to grow on Green Street over the last weekend of summer, all to give people a chance to stroll slowly, soak up some cooler temperatures, and discover a stand-out t-shirt or plant holder or water bottle sticker or all three.

It’s the Pasadena ARTWalk, presented by Jackalope Arts, and it will fill out the pretty street from Los Robles Avenue to El Molino Avenue on Sept. 19 and 20.

Entry is free, and you can enter the walkable event from any point.

Some of the participating artisans include Caitie Velasco Ceramics, Rose Gooey Treats, The Drunk Cactus Shop, Minkara Jewelry, and Hooked On Pottery.

Join-in activities and diversions will also dot the route; you can decorate a handfan for free or take part in another nifty offering for a fee, including tarot readings or pet portraiture. Live music will add to the sunny soundtrack.

It’s year 18 for the Green Street gathering, but there’s more Jackalope joy coming to the Crown City this year: The popular Central Park art festival is returning to Pasadena Nov. 14 and 15, 2026.

For everything ebullient that is afoot, or perhaps “a rabbit’s foot” is more apt, given that Jackalope Arts is behind the beautiful annual event, hop by this site pronto.
