FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A woman was found dead after a shooting on Wednesday night in central Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department says officers responded to Palm and Shields Avenues around 11:09 p.m. for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a female with a gunshot wound.
Fist responders attempted life-saving measures, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has since been identified as 34-year-old Tiffany Stewart.

Homicide Detectives investigated and found that there was a domestic violent incident between Stewart and her partner, 29-year-old Jeffrey Randall.
The two got into an argument when in the parking lot where the shooting happened.
During the argument, police say Randall shot Stewart as she was walking away from him.
Randall was later found in the area and was arrested.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail for PC 187(a) – Murder.
