Bakersfield police announced the arrest this week of a 29-year-old man it accused of kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl two weeks ago.
Antonio Rafael Gomez Martinez was taken into custody on suspicion of contacting the victim close to her home on Sept. 3 then returning her to an area nearby more than four hours later, the Bakersfield Police Department said in a news release.
The release said it identified and located Gomez Martinez using information provided by the victim in combination with data gathered from Flock surveillance cameras.
