SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Sacramento County officials are asking for the public’s help identifying a man whose body was found in the American River.
Two people found the unidentified adult male in the river on Sept. 13, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said there were no apparent signs of trauma. The man was wearing clothing consistent with active gear, but investigators found no identification documents. Fingerprint testing also did not produce a match.
The case is listed as Coroner Case 26-03633.
