BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a boy who died after a crash while riding a pocket bike as 15-year-old Andres Gomez Osornio of Shafter.
The coroner’s report said on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at around 9:04 p.m., Osornio was riding a pocket bike and collided with a vehicle on South Shafter Avenue and Riverside Street in Shafter.
The report said he died at the scene.
