Congratulations to Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center for being selected as The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s September 2026 EFAP Agency of the Month!
Over the last year, Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center has distributed more than 83,200 pounds of EFAP commodities at their site, representing over 69,300 meals provided to the community. Each month, their dedicated volunteer team creates a welcoming and respectful experience for every participant. Their organized site leads take a proactive approach to supporting EFAP compliance, helping make each distribution meaningful and well-coordinated. We are grateful for their continued partnership in the shared work of fighting hunger and feeding hope.
The Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center (IBNC) offers the new Drive‑Thru Mass Food Distribution hosted at the Imperial Beach Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑Day Saints (1515 Elder Avenue, San Diego). This launch ensures uninterrupted monthly food support for families, seniors, and individuals across the South Bay community while IBNC’s campus undergoes construction. The Drive‑Thru Mass Food Distribution happens on the third Thursday of the month.
