Sacramento police said a driver died Saturday morning after crashing into a tree.
The crash happened just after 7 a.m. near Norwood Avenue and Lindley Drive. Police said officers arrived at the scene and began life-saving measures, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the driver as an adult male, and said it was a solo-vehicle collision.
