A man died Saturday morning after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Officers responded shortly after 7 a.m. to reports of a vehicle collision near Norwood Avenue and Lindley Drive. They found a solo vehicle that had crashed into a tree.
Despite life-saving efforts, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigation Unit and crime scene investigators responded to investigate the crash.
Roads that were closed in the area have since reopened.
