PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Happy Sunday, it looks like we will see a nice and calm day. Especially after some of the Monsoon action we had earlier this week. Look for plenty of sunshine and high temps around 102 degrees; that is 2 degrees above average for this time of year.
Drier air is moving into our state as well, and with the drier air we could see some comfortable overnight lows with temps in the mid to upper 70s. Through the whole weekend, we will stay dry across the state.
Next week we are watching a low-pressure system that will push in from California and bring us a chance of showers starting on Tuesday.
There will be a better chance of rain up north in the high country and about a 20 percent chance of showers here in the valley. Temps all week will stay just a couple of degrees above our average.
