LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- According to the Long Beach School District, the lockdown at LBSD campuses has been lifted, and regular school operations have resumed.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. today, a potential threat was received involving Long Beach High School. Law enforcement was notified immediately and responded swiftly, working closely with the District to assess the situation and ensure the safety of students and staff. An increased law enforcement presence may be noticeable around the schools as an additional precaution.
The Long Beach School District will continue to share information through their official school channels, including their Facebook page, email, and text notifications.
