BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — From hours, tickets, and wristbands to concerts, here’s what you need to know before heading to the Kern County Fair.
The 2026 Kern County Fair is running from September 23 to October 4, located at 1142 South P Street.
HOURS:
Monday to Thursday: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.Friday (9/25): 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.Friday (10/2): 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.Saturdays: Noon to 11 p.m.Sundays: Noon to 10 p.m.
TICKETS:
Adult Admission: $15Senior Admission (62+): $10Child Admission (6 to 12): $6Child Admission (5 & under): FREEMilitary: FREE with military ID

On September 25, the Kern County Fair is hosting Senior Day, where admission and parking are free to guests 62 and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On September 28, as part of Friends and Followers Day, admission will be $9, when purchased online and is only valid for that day.
On September 29, for Feed the Need, those who donate 6 (or more) non-expired canned food items get one free admission into the fair on that Tuesday.
On October 1, for Special Friends Day, there will be free admission for special friends and their caregivers from 9 a.m. to noon.

CONCERTS:
A concert will be held every night of the fair as part of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon Concert Series at the Budweiser Pavilion. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. every night and are free with your admission.
Seating is first-come, first-served.

Every day at the fair, catch performers from Sea Lion Splash, Stingray Encounter, All Alaskan Racing Pigs, to Capt’n Jack Spareribs. Find the event line-up for every day here.
At the Grandstand Arena, there will be Monster Trucks, PRCA Rodeo, and the Fiesta del Charro Rodeo. Fair admission is not included in the tickets and will need to be purchased.

WEATHER:
El Niño should kick off in October, so expect rain chances to return then. Until then, attendees can get ready for a hot start to the Kern County Fair.
